I still did not receive any cash but I have come to accept that I won't be receiving any; I'm absolutely fine with that.
I started my Christmas wrapping presents (last minute presents my aunty didn't wrap so I was left to wrap it). After which we headed to East London where my uncle lives. Since it's Christmas dinner everyone is expected to assist with the cooking, my cousin and I took on the starter. The starter consisted of red wine smoked salmon, plain salmon, garden salad, tuna stuffed with cheese and green onion all nicely arranged on a small serving plate. The starter was followed by different variety of meat from bacon sausage to beef to lamb and turkey with a side of roasted potatoes which was absolutely delicious, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I had my meal with some red wine, champagne and water. After the main course we took an hour break to watch a British soap called Eastender, it wasn't bad. The series is one of those you could watch one episode, place two and two together and figure out what happened previously. So after an hour, we headed back to the dinning room for dessert. The dessert consisted of this traditional British pudding simply called Christmas pudding, it has raisins, lost of raisins, it doesn't really have the creamy consistency of a pudding and before dishing it out, it was first set on fire, it was definitely something different and the pudding was not my favorite thing. Dessert done! some enjoyed it and others not so much. We went on to open the presents, I may not have gotten money but I did get lost of gifts, my favorite was the Balleys Irish cream my uncle gave me ( he knows me so well). The night was nearly over but of course not before we danced (tradition).
It was a very merry Christmas.
